DELTA SOUTH 2015: The craze to find solace at the upper chambers of the National Assembly.

Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan is also good to go. Like his other colleagues, the destination point in 2015 is the Senate to represent Delta South Senatorial district. However, the very popular incumbent Senator James Manager seems poised to give Uduaghan a run for his money and has advised the governor to look elsewhere.

So heated up is the political disagreement between Manager and his governor that Uduaghan’s grace like others will be the fact that he has the party structure in his kitty – a verile and potent weapon that is easily the most determinant factor in determining candidates’ emergence.

The Isoko communities in Ndokwa East include:  * Igbuku  * Asa  * Awa  * Ibrede  * Onogbokor  * Ayama  * Iyade Ame ...

Open Letter to the President and the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Attention: His Excellency, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and Members of the Senate. Mr. President, members of the Senate, We, the Isoko people, urgently draw your attention to the severe and long-standing marginalization we have endured for decades within the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Despite our significant contributions to this nation, particularly in the oil and gas sector, our people remain largely excluded from political appointments, security roles, and economic opportunities. It is a well-known fact that the Isoko land produces a substantial portion of Nigeria's crude oil, accounting for approximately 75% of onshore production. Yet, when it comes to crucial economic benefits such as pipeline surveillance contracts, our community has been consistently overlooked. We have observed the allocation of such contracts to other groups, including the Ijaw and It...
