The Olomoro Oil and Gas Landlord Association recently Nominated an Interim Committee to address various organizational matters. The committee's primary objectives include drafting a more robust constitution and conducting a credible election. In a courteous visit, the committee chairman, Chief Steven Eworode, expressed gratitude to High Chief Lawrence Eduje, the Clan Otota of Olomoro Kingdom, for establishing the committee. Additionally, Chief Eworode solicited an extension of 30 days to enable the committee to accomplish its goals effectively.
The Olomoro Oil and Gas Landlord Association is an essential entity that plays a critical role in the oil and gas industry within the Olomoro Kingdom. To strengthen the association's governance structure and ensure smooth operations, the Clan Otota established an Interim Committee comprising competent individuals to address pertinent issues.
The committee's foremost responsibility is to draft a more robust constitution that will guide the association's affairs. This constitution aims to ensure transparency, fairness, and accountability among all stakeholders. Furthermore, the committee aims to conduct a credible election to select new executives that will lead the Olomoro Oil and Gas Landlord Association. The committee recognizes the importance of these objectives in fostering unity.
During the courtesy visit, Chief Steven Eworode expressed his appreciation to High Chief Lawrence Eduje for entrusting the committee with the task of improving the association. However, he highlighted the need for additional time to ensure that all stakeholders' concerns and inclusivity to gather diverse perspectives, the committee has called upon the stakeholders from the four units that make up the Olomoro Oil and Gas Landlord Association( Wellhead, Flowstation, Pipeline and Access Road), to submit their proposals. Each stakeholder's input is valued, and their proposals will be carefully considered by the committee. This collaborative process will result in a more comprehensive and robust constitution that reflects the collective aspirations of the association.
