Emevor-Orogun Road Phase One Commissioned, Governor Oborevwori Praises Quality; Awarded Phase Two To Commence Immediately.

Delta State Governor, Senator Sheriff Oborevwori, commissioned the completed Phase 1 of the Emevor-Orogun Road on Tuesday, June 11th, 2024. The project, constructed by Emorock Concept Limited, is seen as a major milestone in the Oborevwori administration's infrastructural development plans aligned with the MORE Agenda.

Governor Oborevwori commended Emorock Concept Limited for their high standards and highlighted the project's significance for economic growth and improved quality of life in the Isoko region and Delta State as a whole. He emphasized the road's role in enhancing connectivity, boosting trade, and facilitating access to healthcare and education.

The Governor acknowledged his predecessor, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, for initiating the project and announced the commencement of planning for Phase 2. He directed the Rural Works Commissioner, Hon. Chief Charles Aniagwu, to expedite the process to ensure a seamless continuation.

Hon. Chief Aniagwu echoed the Governor's sentiments, highlighting the road's role in easing transportation challenges and promoting economic activity. He praised the quality of construction and Emorock Concept Limited's capabilities.

Local leaders, including His Royal Highness Dr. John Holt Ologho, the Odion of Emevor, expressed their gratitude for the project's completion after a long wait. They pledged their support for the Governor's development initiatives.

Engr. Oghale Agelebe, Project Director for Emorock Concept Limited, expressed the company's appreciation for the opportunity to contribute to Delta State's development and showcase the capabilities of indigenous engineering firms.

The commissioning ceremony was well-attended by government officials, community leaders, and residents who all celebrated the project's completion and its anticipated positive impact.
